Surya mints 2.97 crores on 1st Day

Hero Surya has phenomenal fan following in Telugu states and the collections of "24" movie are proving that once again.
Collecting nearly 1.90 crores gross from Andhra districts, 1.85 crores from Nizam and 67 lakhs from Ceeded, "24" Telugu version has collected 4.42 crores 'gross'. That means the film has collected around 2.97 crores 'share' on 1st day here.
Surprisingly in Surya's native Tamilnadu, the film has collected only 4.4 crores gross, which is very less for a star hero like him for sure.
