By: Tupaki Desk | 10 April 2017 5:28 PM GMTPrudhvi became one of the busiest comedians in Telugu after proving himself with small roles and he is mostly known for taking digs at popular actors like Balakrishna and others as well. His impeccable comic timing as helped many movies to become successful as his comedy tracks lift up the movie pace at the right time. The actor is also well known for doing characters like Bhattayi Babji in Babu Bangaram. The character was written by Maruthi Dasari and the actor expressed that he liked the role very much.
Talking about the character, he said even the Censor board as accepted that dialogues written by Maruthi for the role were good. He said, " In the movie I talk about throwing away the fruit after buying it. The director wrote for the character, I won't throw away a Mosambi just because I didn't like the skin or didn't like the insides after peeling the skin. I adjust with what I brought home. For me what I saw in the garden is not important but what I brought home is more important. See the deep meaning behind it, that means Maruthi tried to say we need to access the character of a woman by how they behave with you but not dig into their past. So Maruthi as being criticised doesn't right cheap dialogues but writes with great meaning."
The actor continued, "In one my films I say Shobhanam taruvatha, for this Censor board put up an objection while I say, First Night in another one they let it go. I don't understand the rules of Censor board and how do they judge!" Well, it seems like even the actor is confused with Censor board rules like many others! Welcome to the club, sir!
