Meega Power Star Ram Charan’s biggest blockbuster ‘Magadheera’ is completing 5 years after release by today (July 31, 2014). Magadheera is a Historical Blockbuster in Telugu Cinema History with a Theatrical Distributor Share collection of INR78.1 crore (worldwide share) without including satellite rights,music,home media rights.

Highest grosser record was remained with Magadheera for years, until recently Pawan Kalyan broke the record with Attarintiki Daredi.Magadheera completed 50 Days in 302 direct theaters worldwide, in which 280 theaters are from AP and Telangana. Magadheera ran 100 Days in 225 direct theaters in India and 232 theaters worldwide. The film ran 720 Days in 5 theaters and 1001 Days in 1 Kurnool Theater.

The movie's Ceded( 13.15 cr.), Nellore( 3.30 cr.), Guntur( 5.30 cr.), East Godavari( 4.30 cr.), West Godavari( 4.50 cr.), Karnataka( 6 cr.) shares have not been broken by any movie so far including 'Atharintiki Daredi'.

Magadheera won numerous Awards including several Nandi, Filmfare, National Awards etc. It was the first movie Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi seen together.The film turned Ram charan as overnight star and he established as top league actor with the film.Ram Charan Teja believes "Magadheera" should not be remade as it will be difficult to recreate magic.

"I don't think 'Magadheera' should be remade nor do I think it will be remade. It is very difficult to recreate the same magic.'Magadheera' was not made by one person; it was the effort of an entire team and unless the same team comes back, I don't think it will do justice,"said Ram Charan.
