50 Years For Superstar's Suspense Thriller

The super hit movies of Tollywood superstar Krishna are still popular among the Telugu audience. When all the other heroes in the industry are selecting family movies that has the same routine stories Krishna chose mystery movies, James Bond suspense thriller stories and set the trend. As an actor he can observe the success formula in a movie which made him become a superstar. His superhit movie Ave Kallu in 1967 created a sensation at Tollywood boxoffice that time.

Krishna who really loved the script immediately accepted to do the movie. The story revolves around a serial killer which impressed the Telugu audience a lot. Krishna join as a special officer and the suspense of how he caught the killer is the highlight of the film. Actress Kanchana played the female lead in that movie. Senior actors like Rajanala, Padmanabham, Gummadi etc also played vital roles in the film. Especially the song 'Ma vurlo oka paduchundi' is an evergreen hit.

The rerecording is extremely amazing and no one can get bored of watching the movie over and over again. It has been 50 years since this blockbuster suspense thriller Ave Kallu got released. Ave Kallu hit silver screen on December 14th 1967 as a remake of Kollywood movie Adhe Kangal. Tamil director Tirulokchandar helmed this project in Telugu as well.
