Impact Of Hero Arrest: 60 Cr. Loss

Heroine's kidnap and molestation case has sent shockwaves across the South sometime ago. In a recent development one of the top stars in the Malayalam film industry, Dileep was arrested by the Kerala Police for his involvement related to this case. They have arrested him on Monday on the allegations that he is the key person behind the crime.

Even though Dileep is a big star, Malayalam Actress incident has completely damaged his reputation among the Malayalam audience. Malayalam Movie Artist Association has expelled him from the association already. There is widespread resentment against him for his involvement in the case. Dileep is a big star so, police have arrested him only after collecting solid evidence against him. As the case is strong Dileep may not come out of it soon.

If his crime is proved in the court, he will face longterm imprisonment. These developments had huge impact on the fate of his films. Several films starring Dileep have been landed into trouble. The films which are in the various stages of production may not be completed now. Even the films which ready for release may not release soon. Dileep's arrest would incur approximately Rs.60 crore loss to the filmmakers who are producing films with him.
