7 years Dream put on hold for Superstar

Ace cinematographer Rathnavelu has teamed up with Superstar Rajinikanth yet again after their most successful flick 'Robo'.
Apparently, Rathnavelu is planning to turn director and he is working on the script since few months. The top cameraman even turned down several offers from Telugu and Tamil post Mahesh Babu starrer '1 - Nenokkadine'. But when Rajinikanth called him to be part of his upcoming film 'Linga', He couldn't say no as he has high respect for the Superstar. As a result, The dream of 7-years has been put on the back-burner.
'Lingaa' will be shot using Red Dragon 6K camera. The film is a pucca commercial entertainer just like 'Arunachalam' and 'Narasimha'.
Few days ago, A look test for Rajinikanth has been conducted. After a 40-day schedule in Mysore, The shoot will be shifted to Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
