Tamil blockbuster 96 is getting remade in Telugu soon. Sharwanand and Samantha are playing the lead prise by reprising the roles of Vijay Setupathi and Trisha who played the pair in the original.
Prem Kumar who directed the film in Tamil will make his debut in Telugu with the film. The regular shoot of the film is going to begin in April this year. There are a lot of titles in consideration for the project but there is clarity on the same.
The buzz is that Janaki Devi is the title in consideration for the film. The producers registered the same at the chamber. A few also suggest that Janu might also be titled for the movie.
Some major improvements were made to the original script. Govind Vasantha is the music director for this movie. Dil Raju is pooling the resources for the project under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
