However, his party faced a humiliating defeat by winning just one seat. After taking a brief gap from his film career, Pawan Kalyan made a comeback into films and kept himself busy with continuous films.
Quite contrast to what he is doing now, Pawan Kalyan fans and Janasena sympathisers feel that this is the right time for Pawan Kalyan to become active in politics.
They feel that Janasena chief should capitalise on the anti-government sentiment and highlight the plight of the common people in the state.
There are some issues that have to be addressed like the delay in the salaries for the government employees and others.
Janasena sympathisers are of the opinion that if Pawan Kalyan can bank on these issues and gives his voice for the public over these issues, then he will recieve the much needed boost up for his political mileage.
Despite being in politics for seven years now, the voters in Andhra Pradesh are not seeing Janasena as a credible alternative. They are going for either YSRCP or the TDP.
