A Huge Dip Of Quality In Varma's Films!
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 July 2020 1:26 PM GMTLooking at his recent films like 'Naked', 'Climax' and 'Power Star', one cannot believe that these are made by the same Ram Gopal Varma who made path-breaking films like 'Shiva', 'Rangeela' and 'Department'. There is a huge dip of quality in his films.
There was a time when his movies were considered as filmmaking lessons for upcoming directors but Varma turned more into a businessman these days and the filmmaker in him is slowly disappearing. He often surprises us with some good crime thrillers like 'Rakta Charitra', 'The Attacks of 26/11' and 'Killing Veerappan' but the Varma who pulled off a thriller like 'Kshana Kshanam' with no vulgarity or violence is long gone now.
Experts say that he is churning out controversies to make his films popular and making money out of them. He is reportedly not concentrating on the film's output and is just selling the idea to people despite failing badly in the execution. Many people are saying that he might make money with these tactics but he may soon lose all the respect he once had in the industry. He gave hits like 'Rangeela', 'Company', 'Satya' and 'Sarkar' in Bollywood and gave life to many actors but he is nothing in Bollywood and if it goes on like this, he may end up being no one in Tollywood too. Hope Varma realizes it before it gets too late.
