RRR - A Never Before Event In Telugu Cinema!

This is something new for Indian Cinema. In Bollywood, multistarrers have been common and the combinations form interest. In South Indian languages, heroes are worshipped as demigods and matinee idols.
Hence, a star hero doing a cameo in another star hero film that to who is pitted as his rival, that would be regarded as a huge surprise. Chiranjeevi after becoming Megastar did not share screen with his rivals like Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Balakrishna. Many directors like Raghavendra Rao wished to make them all come together.
Raghavendra Rao's disciple Rajamouli, who has become India's best commercial director has decided to do the improbable and bring two rival superstars that too Ram Charan and Jr. NTR together for RRR.
Being from two highly revered mass hero clans, the matinee idols have millions of fans and any imbalance in treating them on screen will result in career ending prospects.
Many directors dream but don't dare to take such step as it is almost suicidal to bring two stars of that calibre together. SS Rajamouli decided to do so and finally, the movie RRR is ready for release on 7th January, 2022.
The team appreciating this gigantic effort and never before event and also confirming the release date, 7th January amongst the speculations, tweeted that in 50 days, the dream that no one ever dared to dream in modern times will become true in theatres.
Recently released "Naatu Naatu" song has become a viral sensation due to the dance steps composed for two superstars and there are millions of videos performing their hook step. This song could be next "Butta Bomma" for Indian Cinema. MM Keeravani composed music for the film. Olivia Morris, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran are part of the cast of this epic film about the lives two young men - Alluri Ramaraju, Komaram Bheem - who became Indian Freedom Fighters later in their lives.
