Unique Plans for Mani Ratnam's Nawab Audio

Nawab is the latest film that is creating a lot of buzz in the industry as it is the only Mani Ratnam's movie in the recent times that created curiosity from the theatrical trailer level. Tipped to be a crime thriller, Nawab is co-written and directed by Mani Ratnam. Top class technicians are working on the project and AR Rahman is one among them. There is a rumor that the film is based on Godfather. However, none from the film unit confirmed it.
The makers are gearing up for a grand audio launch event on 5th of this month in Chennai. The audio of the Tamil version will be launched in Chennai at the event where AR Rahman is expected to perform live. Rahman along with his team will be performing all the songs of the Tamil version live during the audio launch and it is very rare to see in Kollywood. Usually, the Tamil filmmakers launch the audio in an indoor venue in the presence of media but this time, Mani Ratnam is planning something big.
Produced jointly by Mani Ratnam and Subaskaran under their banners Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, the film features Arvind Swami, Silambarasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana Erappa. The movie is scheduled for a grand release on 28th September.
