A striking announcement to come from Liger on Sep 27

Dashing director Puri Jagannadh and south sensation Vijay Devarakonda have come together for Liger, a film based on Mixed martial arts. For this Vijay underwent some training and turned bulky to suit the nature of the character. The crew is currently shooting in Goa.
To increase the curiosity on the film, the makers announced that a striking announcement would be made on September 27, which is Monday. Muhurtham for the announcement was also fixed at 4 PM.
With a poster, the makers said that a striking announcement from the movie is on its way and appealed to the fans to stay tuned for the big announcement. The words STRIKING ANNOUNCE MNET ON SEPTEMBER 27 AT 4 PM were written on a boxing stage with spotlights focusing on the stage.

Liger is the first Pan-India project of Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Devarakonda. Ace filmmaker Karan Johar is jointly bankrolling Liger under his Dharma Productions along with Puri Jagannadhâs Puri Connects. Ananya Pandey is the leading beauty in Liger.
