In Telugu all films except F2, have failed to make a profit and the market has been waiting for a true entertainer from January ever since, Mr. Majnu also failed to have decent buzz after release.
At such time, when a blockbuster film with a hero who has a name and who can pull some crowds to theatres even in Telugu states, even though he is from Tamil, could have easily cashed in.
But Thala Ajith Kumar's film, Viswasam even though became a huge hit in Tamil against Petta, movie did not release till date.
It is releasing finally on 1st March in Kannada and Telugu markets. But on 25th February, the movie will be available on Amazon Prime with subs and that is enough for many other language audience to watch.
So, just three days before release if they give permission to stream and without much buzz release a good blockbuster content, who will really watch it in theatres?
