Aagadu - A Debt Clearance Machine!
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Sep 2014 2:10 PM GMTIt is known that Eros Internationals has entered into a deal with 14 Reels for Mahesh Babu starrer '1 - Nenokkadine' for a joint theatrical release. As a result, Both the production houses incurred huge losses following the rejection from movie lovers.
Apparently, 14 Reels has given an assurance to Eros Internationals that a major share in the theatrical rights of 'Aagadu' will be offered to them as a measure to compensate the loss of '1 - Nenokkadine'. Making it true, The new posters of 'Aagadu' have the Eros logo and the statement 'An Eros International Release'.
Sources say, Both 14 Reels and Eros Internationals jointly suffered a loss of Rs 25 crore to Rs 30 crore because of '1 - Nenokkadine' as the film is a Rs 70 crore experiment. While the full run theatrical share is Rs 29 crore, Makers managed to pocket Rs 12-15 crore through the sale of audio and satellite rights.
Hope, 'Aagadu' will make 14 Reels debt free and give Eros their first hit this year.
