Aamir Khan-starrer 'Dangal' is one of the best films released in 2016 content-wise and collection-wise. This wrestling based flick sets a great example for the adage 'content is king'. Now, Its raking in a moolah at the Box Office irrespective of class and mass circuits. Even demonetisation hardly had no impact on the revenues so far.
Dangal Domestic Box Office: Rs 132.43 crore till Monday (Fri: Rs 29.78 crore, Sat: Rs 34.82 crore, Sun: Rs 42.35 crore, Mon: Rs 25.48 crore)
Aamir Khan's Rs 100 crore films: Ghajini (2008), 3 Idiots (2009), Dhoom 3 (2013), PK (2014) and Dangal (2016).
Dangal Overseas Box Office: $9 million till Sunday (Rs 60.99 crore)
Aamir Khan breathed life into the character of wrestler Maha Veer Phogat. No other actor could have played the role as convincingly as he did. Critics already declare 'Dangal' will sweep awards. Even the child artistes & young girls who played Aamir's Daughters will bag many awards for sure.
