When 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' became the first Rs.1,000 crore film, no one predicted any other Indian film would achieve the same feat in near future. But Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' made it possible in few days. 'Dangal' China collections were truly historical. With the help of China collections, Dangal has crossed 'Baahubali 2' world wide collections.
'Baahubali 2' collections stand at Rs.1,665 crore now.. but 'Dangal' has moved ahead of 'Baahubali 2'.. they are at Rs.1,870 crore. 'Dangal' has achieved this figure in 30 days. The latest information reveals that the Chinese authorities have extended the license to 'Dangal' for 30 more days. Going by the present trend, trade analysts predict that 'Dangal' will surely reach Rs.2,000 cr. mark in a few days.
'Dangal' has earned Rs. 1,097 crore in China alone. With the staggering collections, 'Dangal' has become the fourth highest grosser in Chinese market. Moreover several factors helped Dangal to achieve historical success in China. Aamir's connect to the Chinese audience with previous films like '3 Idiots' and 'PK'.. Sports based theme in Dangal.. and women empowerment concpet has struck chord with the Chinese audience.
'Baahubali: The Beginning' has collected a meagre Rs.7 crore in China. So, It is interesting to see whether 'Baahubali 2' may repeat 'Dangal' feat in China or not..
