Aamir Khan did not talk about Mahabharata as his dream project until Baahubali series became a huge global success and showed that Indian films have potential to gross more than 1000 crores.
Aamir Khan also improved his market in China and even a film like Secret Superstar made 110 million dollars from China, showing his market strength there.
So, putting aside all his other plans, he decided to take on Mahabharata and is ready to give ten years of his time to develop movies and act in them.
He has been waiting to collaborate with a producer and he found one in Mukhesh Ambani it seems.
The billionaire Industrialist wants to invest 1000 crores or more in the project to make as many movies as possible to tell the complete the story. Mukhesh and Aamir started their discussions as per the reports.
In Malayalam Industry, Mohan Lal has decided to play Bheema in the movie to be made on 1000 crores budget, based on Renda Mozhaam, a book exploring Mahabharatam in Bheema's point of view.
