Mr.Perfectionist feels he gets the credit for success most often but the fact is that a writer has penned the story which had grown organically. 'Film Making is a collaborative process. A film doesn't work if any aspect, be it the script, casting, location, sound design, editing or marketing fails,' he says.
'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' (1988) marked the debut of Aamir Khan in Bollywood. Though he delivered some good hits like Rangeela, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar in the 90s, It's Lagaan which marked the beginning of his second innings. He kept delivering mostly blockbusters since then. 'Ghajini', 'PK' and 'Dangal' had set many records.
