Aamir To Remake Forrest Gump?!
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 Aug 2018 6:01 PM GMTAamir Khan is known as an intellectual actor and his script selection is discussed a lot. He takes time to agree to do a movie and these days, he has been part of biggest grossers of all-time.
Dangal, 3 Idiots, PK and even Dhoom 3 became All Time Highest Grossers in Hindi films. Until Baahubali-2, Dangal was the highest grosser in Indian films and China market, made Dangal, highest ever.
With such huge market, Aamir is expected to come up with variety of new films but the Bollywood media is saying that the actor is doing remake of Forrest Gump.
Forrest Gump is a Hollywood Classic directed by Robert Zemeckis with Tom Hanks giving his best ever performance.
The movie is revered for his acting for more than anything else and the dialogues from the movie have become quotes now.
Not many give the movie credit for brilliance of art and direction. And it is a movie that released in 1994 and Aamir Khan deciding to remake it after 24 years seem a bit too outlandish decision.
To even think that the movie can be written for Indian sensitivities today, doesn't fit in well. But Aamir Khan doesn't really accept films without any good script. So, let's see how the movie will turn out.
