Ace Producer Backs Ap Govt On Ticket Issue!
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Dec 2021 11:23 AM GMTThe Andhra Pradesh government's controversial GO 35 is pushing the film industry into deep losses which was already impacted by the Coronavirus. Knowing the impact the GO will have on the film industry, the members of the Tollywood Film Industry are speaking on the issue and making appeals to the government to rethink on the issue.
As the controversy around the issue is getting bigger, producer Ambika Krishna made sensational comments on the issue and gave his observations on why the Andhra Pradesh government is imposing such restrictions and rules on the industry and theaters.
Ambika Krishna felt that the Andhra Pradesh government is not getting any revenue from the shootings as big stars are shooting in the state. With no revenue from the films, the government took such a decision to impose a few restrictions on the theatres.
He also invited the senior heroes and star heroes to shoot in the state. Ambika Krishna said that when he held the position of the Chairman of the Film Industry Corporation, he made a request to the heroes to shoot in Andhra Pradesh but they did not consider his request.
The senior producer sounded like he is supporting the government in the issue as lack of revenue from the industry forces the government to go for such decisions. Ambika Krishna said it's the directors' and heroes' mistake for not shooting in AP. I am supporting the government. But the government should think about the ticket prices in the villages, he said.
