By: Tupaki Desk | 4 May 2022 12:50 PM GMTKoratala Siva is a director who hasn't tasted a single failure in his career till date. He cracked the formula of making a star hero film with a strong story loaded with mass elements that will make the fans go crazy. He gives a good message along with providing the required entertainment to everyone. Right from his first movie 'Mirchi' to 'Bharat Ane Nenu', he made films that not just pleased fans of star heroes but also satisfy the common audience.
Such a successful director has faltered badly while dealing with a Megastar film. As we all know, 'Acharya' which featured Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role was released on 29th April and it bagged negative response right from the morning shows. The film is heading towards a huge disaster and it is going to end up in enormous losses.
News is that it was Koratala Siva who looked after the financial affairs of 'Acharya' too. With the buyers spending heavily on the film, they are likely to end up in big losses. The losses in the Nizam area is expected to be crores of rupees that too in double figures. He reportedly should be giving a crore or two to distributors in East and West Godavari districts and the Nellore region too. The same is the situation with Karnataka and the overseas situation is even worse.
Apparently, the makers of 'Acharya' should be giving around 30 crores to the buyers all over. Koratala should find a way to compensate these distributors and since the business has been done for 210 crores while the budget and interests summed up to 16- crores. News is that Koratala and Co are planning to adjust the money that they got through profits. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
