Actor Siddharth, who has been vocal on the controversial Government Order that aims at reducing the movie tickets issued by the Andhra Pradesh government had once again spoken about the matter and urged the government to leave the film industry. Using his Twitter handle, the actor had put up his opinion on the matter.

Taking a dig at the argument that the ticket prices were reduced to benefit the people, Siddharth asked what can't the size and amenities of the cricket stadiums be reduced so that the cost of conducting the matches would be reduced.

In his tweet, the talented actor asked why don't the salaries of the cricketers be questioned so that the discount could be passed on to the customers. Saying entertainment is the same, he asked why only one industry is being targeted.

"How bout reducing the size and amenities of stadiums and reducing the cost of staging cricket matches... Pass on the discount to the customer... question cricketer salaries. They have talent. Actors have what? Entertainment is entertainment. Why this hatred for our industry?," his tweet reads.

As an indirect attack on the AP Ministers, the actor also asked why don't the government increase liquor and cigarette costs as the substances harm people.

"And we deal with piracy... Do hotels risk people enjoying their rooms in the privacy of their homes? Nope. Cinema has been relegated to gambling by the tax slabs and govt attitude. Why don't you raise the cost of liquor and cigarettes? They harm people. We entertain them," he tweeted.
