Actress produced before a court over alleged pickpocketing case!

As a piece of news that had shocked the film industry, a noted actress was arrested by the police. More than the news, the reason behind the arrest came as a surprise to everyone. The actress was arrested by the cops on the grounds of pickpocketing.
Going into detail, one Rupa Dutta, who acts in Bengali serials and even acted in a Bollywood film was arrested by the cops as she was accused of pickpocketing. After her behavior made the cops doubt her, they searched her handbag.
It has been widely reported that a few cops who were present at the Kolkata International Book in Salt Lake found her suspicious as they had found Rupa Dutta spending more time at the garbage and dropping a few things there. To clarify their doubts the cops searched the handbag of the actress.
Upon searching for the handbag of Rupa Dutta, the cops have reportedly found a few purses and money in thousands. Besides this, there was also a bag inside the purse that had all the details on the money she had stolen, media reports say.
Based on the same, the actress was arrested by the cops. The cops interrogated the actress on the same grounds and she is said to have accepted the crime that she had stolen the money and purses at the book fair. Upon grilling her, Rupa Dutta had reportedly confessed to the cops that earlier too, she had done the same.
After arresting her, a case under the IPC sections 379 and 411 have been registered. Following the procedure, she was presented before a court. Hearing the case, the judge asked if there were any victims in the case and asked if there were any eyewitnesses in the case which has the actress as the accused.
Rupa Dutta was in the news a couple of years back by making allegations against Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap. She made heads turn by claiming that she has received objectionable messages from Anurag Kashyap. The twist in the tale is that the person who sent messages was not Anurag Kashyap and the person is different.
