Actress Reveals how Covid impacts heroines pay!

The pay gap between male and female stars is well known. The same is the case with every industry. A few heroines have raised their voices against this and called out the injustice to the female stars in the entertainment industry. Another talented actress has joined the list now.

In her recent interview, Bhumi Pednekar had spoken about two issues. One is how the industry was affected by the Covid impact and the second one is how the female actors were made to reduce their salaries due to the pandemic.
Shedding light on the different treatment given to male and female stars in the industry even in terms of salaries, Bhumi Pednekar said that the industry wants the female stars to reduce the pay while the same is not said for the male stars.
""I feel like most people realised that the pandemic had hit them only when they had a female-led film that they were supporting. I have never heard of any producer going and telling a male co-star of mine, 'Yaar, Covid ki wajah se aap pay cut le lo "" Bhumi Pednekar said in her recent interview.
