In India, mainly you need to be an influential person or a woman to be able to pass off anything, even vulgarity and derogatory statements, in the name of equal rights, feminism and women empowerment. These words have become big jokes that even if a politician uses them, people tend to laugh at him or her for saying such big words that they do not mean squat about, just to impress them.

Well, even in elite circles this has become a common phenomenon and norm these days. Few actresses in the past have made some objectionable comments which are deemed acceptable while a senior actor, is being chased after without showing some respect to his age.

Don't get us wrong, we strongly condemn Mr. Chalapathi Rao's comments at the Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam Audio function and we appreciate each and every one who raised their voice against such derogatory comments. Here we are trying to bring to your attention, that some people in social media are talking about. That is women are being treated with partiality regarding such comments while men are being picturised as evil incarnations.

There is no wrong in strongly condemning such attitude shown by a senior actor, but global face of our India, the actress who looks to have promising career in Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra, in January commented that she needs a man just for making babies and nothing else. Imagine such comments made by a male actor and the person would have been facing the wrath of women even today.

But nobody talked about Priyanka Chopra and some even praised her audacity to give such a bold statement. When the equality rights are discussed, how come men became evil and women feminists and bold angels? We hope a healthy and prolific discussion will run over such matters and we see a world devoid of derogatory comments to just show off someone's superiority complex in any sense.
