People Think Of Actresses As High Profile Prostitutes

No matter how much effort and sweat they put into it, the film industry is always treated as an entertainment industry. Things are tough for people who work in films as the society doesn't respect them no matter how much they earn. The situation s even worse for the women in the industry. They are constantly judged by people around them who are not even worth a single penny.
There are some issues like casting couch which leave a permanent black mark in the minds of people regarding the film industry. Speaking about it, Mahika Sharma who is known for her roles in Ramayan and other said some interesting facts. She stated, "In the entertainment industry, actresses are always seen as sexual objects especially when you are not a nepotism product. Many girls become victim to either a casting director or producers. That is why society doesn't see acting as a good profession. People here think we actresses are high profile prostitutes. With time, people would not grow their mentality and show respect to us. It's a sad thing."
She even opened up about the horrific experiences she faced during her early days in the industry. She started as Miss Teen Northeast which paved way for her into the Bollywood industry. She talked about the recent Raj Kundra's pornography case and felt sad for Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
She added, "Many well-known people have told me, when you give something you will get something. Else you keep struggling all life. I had to face many such harsh statements. When we see Shilpa Shetty as an inspiration, reading about her husband breaks down our heart."
Currently, she is working with adult star Danny D for a new generation Bollywood movie named ‘The Modern Culture'. Currently, her comments are spreading like wildfire on the internet.
