Adipurush is more than film for Prabhas
By: Tupaki Desk | 31 March 2022 12:20 PM GMTAdipurush is the next release announced for Pan India star Prabhas. His recent release Radhe Shyam ended up being a huge disaster.
Obviously, he would be more nervous and worried about his next release. But the actor is more worried because the film is sentimentally very important for him.
He talked to a media outlet and said that Adipurush is not just a film for him but called it something bigger than that. He said that it has a sentimental value.
He revealed that he called Om Raut, the director of the film after three days of accepting and discussed honestly with him, about his fears. He values the director's vision and his friendship as well.
The actor took the failure in his stride and said that he cannot hope for every Baahubali to find him. He also said that he values Box office returns and numbers. As they are the only way to gauge audience interest in his film.
He feels that all failure films are his regrets but they are part of the career, he exclaimed. Otherwise he doesn't have any regrets in his life.
The actor called for Indian filmmakers to think more global and national level rather than sticking to language barriers. He wished what Baahubali and Rajamouli achieved will give more inspiration to future generations to make Indian Cinema global.
