First Look: Adnan Sami Debut Film Afghan

Popular Bollywood singer Adnan Sami, who is known for his wonderful songs is debuting as a hero with Radhika Rao-Vinay Sapru's upcoming film 'Afghan: In Search Of A Home'. This is a new turn in Adnan's career.
There are several ups & downs in Adnan's life and his acting debut is another turning point. Adnan was born in London and he started playing piano at the age of five. His songs were chartbusters in the UK in the early days of his music career. He started his music career in India with 'Kabhi to Nazar Milao' album in association with Asha Bhonsle. His song 'Lift Karade' made him very popular in India. Apart from Bollywood films, he worked for several Telugu films as well.
He has gone through many personal struggles in his life. He was weighing 250 kilos at one point of time. When doctors warned him that he won't live long if he continues the same weight, he has taken treatment in London to shed 160 kilos of excess weight. On the other hand, Adnan had three failed marriages. He has a son with his third wife Roya Sami Khan. They are living in Karachi now.
The first look of his latest film Afghan: In Search Of A Home' came as a pleasant surprise to many as Adnan appeared in a completely fresh look as traditional Afghan with a grown beard and head turban.
