Tollywood has been gripped with 'Agnyaathavaasi' fever for the past ten days. Filmmakers usually release their films on Friday but no producer dared to release their film on Friday as Pawan film is scheduled for Wednesday release.
Finally, Pawan movie hit the screens today but the talk is not encouraging right from the first show. 'Agnyaathavaasi' will not have any trouble with two days opening collections as advance bookings are full.. Pawan-Trvikram combo.. holiday season will help the film big time. But the movie may not fully cash on the advantage of Sankranthi festival season with this kind of talk as per the trade analysts. Then who will utilise this opportunity?
Three other films are slated for Sankranthi release now. If we keep aside the dubbed film 'Gang', Balakrishna 'Jai Simha'.. Raj Tarun movie 'Rangula Ratnam' are in the race. As Balayya film is a pakka mass entertainer, it can easily register good collections if it can impress the fans. Festival season will surely become an advantage for Balayya film. On the other hand, 'Rangula Ratnam' can pass the Sankranthi test if it can impress the family audience. Considering the small budget it can easily reach break even if we compare with other films.
