Mafia based subjects have been to-go subjects for most of the new age filmmakers or modern age filmmakers. The big action set pieces and scope for drama that these Mafia characters can provide always lures stars or actors to try at least one subject like that from time to time.
Megastar Chiranjeevi tried to play a Don back in Big Boss film but that did not workout well for him. Later, he did comedy Don character in Shankar Dada franchise.
We never saw Megastar do a full fledged Mafia subject and his fans wish to see him in such a character with dark shades. Their wish could come true in a Mafia based comedy to be directed by Venky Kudumula.
DVV Danayya is producing this film and the regular shoot could start next year after Megastar completes his other films like Godfather - where he plays a political king pin, Bobby's next - where he will be seen as a mechanic, according to some unconfirmed inside reports, and Bholaa Shankar - where he will be seen as a taxi driver and a thug.
Venky Kudumula completed his script and narrated it to Megastar Chiranjeevi recently. The actor liked the premise and fun elements narrated by the director, say reports. Full details about the project will be revealed by the makers soon.
