Agnyaathavaasi: Second Best First Week Collections

Pawan Kalyan's latest film 'Agnyaathavaasi' completed a week's run at the box office amid so much hungama. The movie collected a Rs.39 crore worldwide distributor share on the opening day, setting a non-Baahubali record for Telugu films. But the negative talk played spoilsport for the film from the second day itself. It was clearly evident that the movie was heading towards a disaster with the meager second-day collection of Rs.5 crores.
After 7 days of theatrical run, the movie posted a total of Rs. 39.15 crores in the Telugu states making it the second biggest first-week collections for Pawan. Pawan's biggest first-week share collected by his earlier film 'Katama Rayudu' with 43 crores. As the festival holidays are over, it is tough for the film to sustain at the box office. So, the figures may not drastically increase in the second week. The final estimated figures may touch 60 crores share worldwide.
