Low-key Promotions can't be expected in the case of Star-Studded Films. Whenever a biggie is gearing up for release, Strategy of aggressive promotions on multiple platforms is strictly implemented. Whereas, That's not happening in the case of 'Agnyaathavaasi'. Except Teaser and Audio, There is nothing from the Production House so far. Even the Theatrical Trailer which was supposed to release Today (January 26th) has been delayed till January 5th for reasons best known to the Makers. Which means, Trailer will out just five days before the theatrical release. Is that enough for a project which attracted an investment of around Rs 150 crore in various forms?
Tuning the audience according to the content in the movie is a crucial aspect which could decide the fate of the movie. That's what films such as '1 - Nenokkadine' and 'Baahubali' has proven in the past! Irrespective of the Hero, Any film need to be promoted well so that it's gonna reach out to maximum number of people.
Needless to say huge money is riding on 'Agnyaathavaasi'. Pre-release Business has been best in PK's career and one of the highest in TFI history. Low-key Promotions mayn't have a negative impact on Telugu States but Overseas market can't be taken lightly as huge money is at stake. Even the weather condition during this period is going to be challenging in USA. So, Aggressive promotions will take the buzz to a whole new level and nullify any such external factors affecting the movie's fate.
