Why Aish Rejected Film Featuring Abhi?

Bollywood heroine Aishwarya Rai Bachchan became choosy in signing the films after her re-entry. She is so particular about the story and her characterisation.. above all these things, the most important aspect is her remuneration. It's not just a casual statement but Bollywood media reported about it.

Recently a filmmaker approached Aishwarya- Abhishek couple with a story and Abhishek was impressed with it and gave his nod. The basic plot of the film is about a married couple who are police officers and their relationship strains because of political influences. But Aishwarya suggested a few changes to the script and asked him to work on the changes.

The director took some time and made suitable changes. When he tried to meet Aish later he left disappointed because Aish has already signed another film leaving this project. Bollywood reports further state that Aish has dropped this project because the makers were not ready to pay Rs 10 crore remuneration as quoted by her.

Whatever be the case, audience missed the chance to watch Aish-Abhi couple on screen once again. They shared screen space for the last time in Mani Ratnam directorial 'Raavan' eight years ago.
