Taking inspiration from 'Baahubali', filmmakers across India are planning big canvas films with high budgets. It is known that a high budget film 'Sangamithra' is getting ready in Tamil now. Similarly, preparations are going on for 'Mahabharata' with a high budget of Rs.1,000 crore in Malayalam. Even Bollywood makers are in preparations of such high budget film.
It is a historical film titled 'Taanaji'. Om Raut is the director. The first look of this film has become a hot topic in the social media now. A warrior burning in the fire is shown in the first look. Ajay Devgan is playing Subedar Taanaji Malusare role in thefilm. Taanaji was a close friend of Sivaji.. and a fierce warrior in Sivaji's army. This Maratha legend's ferociousness in the battle against Mughals for Sinhagad in 1670 is well known. There are lessons in school books about Taanaji's valour.
