Padmavati Director Is Also Like Them

Touted to be an epic period drama, Padmavati movie is featuring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ranveer Singh is playing the antagonist role of Alauddin Khilji in the movie. Ever since the movie was announced so many controversies are surrounding this film. So many Rajput people are against this movie. When the movie is going to get released in two weeks, they even started attacking the theatres.
Now, Ajmer Dargah Diwan, Zainal Abedin Ali Khan also started speaking against Padmavati. He even urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban this movie. He stated that the movie which is hurting the religious sentiments should be banned. He compared director Sanjay Leela Bhansali with controversial writers Salman Rushdie, Taslima Nasreen, Tareq Fatah etc and demanded that the Muslims should oppose the film. He claimed that the director is taking advantage of his freedom of speech and expression and is hurting the religious sentiments of Muslims.
He stated that the board should allow the movie to be screened in theatres only after verifying that the historical facts that are shown in the movie might not adversely affect the law and order. He added that the Padmavati should be reviewed and ensured that it is not hurting the religious sentiments of any community.
