In the premiere collections alone, Balakrishna starrer had started the premiers with a bang with mind-blowing collections. According to the trade analysts, Akhanda emerged as the highest grosser from Tollywood this year in terms of premieres with a collection of over $300k.
Dwaraka Creations which bankrolled Akhanda released a poster to celebrate the US premiere performance. Akhanda Roaring with Blockbuster Talk Across the World, the production house tweeted.
The makers thanked the overseas audience for making Akhanda the highest opening grosser of Telugu Cinema in 2021. Calling the film a roaring Blockbuster Hit, the makers shared their happiness on the box office collections.
In Telugu states too, Akhanda started with a good start with good footfall at the theatres. The theatre owners in Telangana were permitted by the Telangana High Court to increase the ticket fares by Rs 50.
