Akhil debut film announcement in AP Capital

Akkineni Akhil was expected to make an official announcement on his debut flick on September 20th on the eve of his grandfather late ANR's 91st birth anniversary. He, however, delayed the announcement by few weeks for some reason.
At the 100 Days function of 'Manam', Akhil told, "I am unable to give a proper answer to my fans regarding my debut flick. 'Kodithe Alanti Ilanti Hit Kadhu, Kachitanga Blockbuster Kottalanukuntunnanu.' Post the release of 'Oka Laila Kosam', I will reveal about my entry in Vijayawada. Till then, Fans need to be patient!"
On 'Manam', Akhil commented, "I should thank 3 people for the success of 'Manam'. The first person is Cinematographer PS Vinod for showing every frame so beautifully. Secondly, Dad for believing in a complicated script and producing it. Thirdly, Director Vikram Kumar for doing a brilliant job as captain of the ship and offering me a cameo role".
