The concept of sentiments run strong in the entertainment industry and even the top most stars are no exception to it. Now another new sentiment surfaced into tollywood and its about film titles.
Title plays an important role in the success of any film. Giving the good title is very much important. But several directors misfired by choosing the title relaying on star-power instead of subject which often backfired.The recent example was Akkineni Akhil's debut flick Akhil.
The film was tanked at Box office and gave nightmare for Akkineni fans. Like Akhil, there were several box-office turkeys with the movie named after popular stars. Some examples among were Chiranjeevi, Captain Nagarjuna, Jayasudha, Mahesh Khaleja and Kalyanram Kathi. Recently NBK'S lion also failed at the box office. Now filmmakers are rethinking about the strategy of naming their films after stars.
