Hello Is Strong In USA

Akhil Akkineni was successfully re-launched with the film Hello. Though the movie is getting good talk, the same is not getting reflected in terms of the box office collections. Though Akhil's debut Akhil failed big time at the box office, Hello performed well irrespective of the end result of Akhil. The film's theatrical business was closed at 33 crore rupees and we have come to know that the film has collected around 18 crore rupees. The film failed to take advantage of the Christmas and New Year weekend.
Though Hello has become a disaster in both the Telugu states, the film lived up to the expectations in the USA. The rights of the film for the overseas were sold at 3 crore rupees. The film grossed almost one million dollar rupees which resulted in the buyers ending up with profits. The film successfully entered the one million dollar club and created a market for Akhil in the USA. Vikram K Kumar is the director of the film which marked the debut of Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead.
