Akhil Confirms Mr. Majnu Release Plans

There have been many whispers that Venky Atluri could go for re-shoots and he is not as confident about Mr. Majnu as Tholiprema, his previous film.
Also, the talk was that Akhil wanted Nag's opinion on the film before taking it to censors and Nagarjuna asked them to finish movie at least a month or 45 days before.
With two gossips going on, Akhil's third attempt at delivering a box office success after, Akhil and Hello, Mr. Majnu release plans have become the most talked about topic. Many thought it might come for Sankranthi and few said it may go to February.
But Akhil issued clear update on the progress of the film. He said, "By 3rd December, all the shooting of Mr. Majnu will be over and we will be left with just a set song. We wish finish that soon and post production works are on full swing. Movie will release in January."
So, the team is planning for a January release and it could be during Republic Day weekend as NTR Mahanayakudu could go to February or March.
