Akhil Akkineni tasted a flop in the form of 'Akhil - The Power of Jua' which has got all the commercial elements. So, The Young Hero wants to try a content-driven flick for his next.
Reliable sources say, Akkineni Family approached Director Krish for the second movie. Feelers have been sent to Krish to enquire if he had a script which suits Akhil and the filmmaker seems to have responded positively.
Nagarjuna loved 'Kanche' very much and believes Krish is perfect to wield megaphone for coming-of-age films. That's how everything fell in place! If the story narrated by Krish excites Akkinenis, Then the project is certainly going on the floors any time soon.
On the other hand, Puri Jagannath, Sreenu Vaitla and Deva Katta are also in race for Akhil's second flick.
