Akhil Akkineni was disappointed with the result of his last film Mr. Majnu. The actor is strictly trying to make his official entry into success. If the buzz is believed to be true, the actor will next be seen in a film to be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Allu Aravind will produce the film under Geetha Arts banner.
After Ongole Githa in Telugu and the remake of Bangalore Days in Tamil, the director Bhaskar did not do any other film. The film marks his comeback to Tollywood as well. The makers are currently busy with the pre-production work and making sure that the script avoids routine elements.
The update from the sources close to the film unit is that Priyanka Jawalkar, the Anantapur based girl who debuted with Taxiwala was approached for the leading lady role. The actress is yet to give her nod.
The regular shoot of the film will commence from the month of April.
