Akira Nandan and Renu Desai test positive for Covid

The Covid 3rd wave has well and truly set in. India is reporting a constant spike in the number of new Covid cases. Incidentally, several Tollywood celebrities have already tested positive for Covid. The likes of Mahesh Babu, Manchu Lakshmi, Rajendra Prasad, Bangla Ganesh, and others have contracted the virus and are recovering from the same.

Now, the latest news is that Pawan Kalyan's son Akira Nandan and Renu Desai have testes positive for Covid.

Renu Desai took it to social media to confirm that she has contracted Covid and so has Akira Nandan.

"Hello, inspite of sitting at home most of the time and sitting at home for new year, Akira and I tested positive with symptoms a few days ago. We both are recovering now and I request all of you to please take this 3rd wave seriously. Wear your masks and be careful as much as possible. I had both my vaccines last year and was going to give Akira his now but he tested positive before that." Renu Desai tweeted a short while back.

Both Renu and Akira are in home isolation now and they are said to be recovering from the infection now.
