So, 2.0 is Postponed Or Not?

We have never been so confused like this ever. For a big film that involves such huge star cast and team that plans everything way ahead of time, 2.0 has been the most uncertain film from Shankar that has been getting postponed from one date to another.
Recently, the news reports have suggested that the movie could have been postponed yet again from 25th January date to April date. Few Tamil media persons said that the movie is not postponed while several said may be. Akshay Kumar announced his PadMan release on 26th January and he off-handedly suggested that he won't clash with his own movies.
There has been uncertainty regarding the release of PadMan and 2.0 as the makers haven't confirmed or denied anything. Finally, it seems like Lyca Productions has decided to postpone 2.0 after the audio release as the post production works still requires time to complete. Along with re-shoots, all works for the movie in production stage have been completed by Shankar and his team and it is 3D works and few VFX shots, that needed to be completed. So, Lyca Productions is waiting to confirm the next date to exactly know the time, when they can announce the date. The teaser launch event planned in Hyderabad for 22nd of November has been cancelled too. But there is no official confirmation regarding this. Akshay Kumar's PadMan is directed by R. Balki who made Shamithab, Paa, Cheeni Kum and Ki &Ka, before. Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte are acting as female leads in the movie.
