Akshay Kumar Isn't Worthy of National Award?

One can argue about a person's skills and abilities when they get an award but we cannot really judge that based on their Nationality and religion.
Not every muslim is Pakisthani and not every Pakisthani hates India. Not every terrorist believes in religion and not every terrorist is heartless human.
We have to judge people according to their intentions behind actions. Sometimes, hurting someone might be done by another person in the influence of a bad thought process, but that shouldn't be the only way to judge a person.
We have to understand the root cause for all the hate and eliminate it. But Akshay Kumar's over indulgent Patriotism seems to have gone against him.
His claim to being very respectful to India and asking everyone to respect India too sternly to create an image on screen and off screen seems to have made him an easy target to hit after he did an interview with PM Narendra Modi.
His films project the policies of Government in a positive light and his image as new Manoj Kumar with extreme patriotism also made most of social media youth go against him.
He said that he is a Canadian citizen who works in India and that made many say that he is a fake patriotic to India and even though he said citizenship should be his personal choice, people are asking that his National Award for Rustom to be called back.
Well, as per rules, even International actors can receive National Awards. So, if any jury appointed by Government, decides that any International actor who acted in Indian Cinema, deserves an award, they will be given one.
Now, for Rustom should Akshay be getting an award? That's a different question.
