'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo': A modern remake of 'Rowdy Alludu'?

Ever since the teaser of 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' released, the one thing that stuck in everyone's brain is its striking resemblance to Chiranjeevi's blockbuster hit 'Rowdy Alludu'. Despite the fact that Allu Arjun doesn't play a dual role like Chiru, some scenes in the teaser are exactly like 'Rowdy Alludu'.
Allu Arjun wearing a red coat and walking on the table during the conference is completely taken out from Chiru's film. Though we cannot say that it is a rip-off or a homage to megastar from Bunny, it is a fact that both the scenes are similar.
As Trivikram has a reputation of taking the stories of old films and adding a modern touch to it, many are starting to wonder if 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' is going to be a modern remake of 'Rowdy Alludu' leaving behind the double role. There is also another talk in the industry that this film is inspired by Sr. NTR's 'Inti Guttu'. There are also a few others who say that the romantic thread between Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde is taken from the Hollywood film, 'The Proposal'. Let us wait and see what Trivikram has to show us on 12th January.
