All Films Running Behind The Same Release Date! Why?

Many interesting films like 'Maharshi', 'Jersey', 'Majili' and others lined up during last year's summer season. But this year's summer season is comparatively free with Pawan Kalyan's 'Vakeel Saab' being the only big release. Still, most of the filmmakers seem to be obsessed with one particular date and are competing with each other for that date. It is April 2nd.
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's 'Love Story' directed by Sekhar Kammula is going to get released on April 2nd. Anushka's mystery thriller 'Nishabdham' also announced its arrival on the same day. Apart from them, Vaishnav Tej's debut film 'Uppena' is also coming on the 2nd of April. Even Rana's upcoming film too locked the same date.
Many are shocked over this craze for April 2nd and experts say that the makers are interested in that particular date as it is the start to the summer season and people will be flocking to the theatres. Also, with Pawan's film scheduled for a May release, they can have the entire April month for themselves. Let us hope their strategy works out. Otherwise, all the films may get badly affected because of this competition.
