Allari Naresh Going Back 30 Years!

Allari Naresh started off his career as a hero who does comedy films. He earned a lot of fame through his entertaining films but he changed his route a bit these days. With the routine formulaic comedy content not working out, he rediscovered himself and started doing serious films like 'Naandi', 'Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam', 'Ugram' and others. These three films are quite different from his regular outings.
'Naandi' is a film that reached a lot of people and the remaining two films were well received by the audience after they got out on OTT platforms. They were commercial failures. Currently, Naresh decided to follow the current trend and accept a film in the period drama genre. As we know, period films are the order of the day in recent times.
In this backdrop, they are expected to narrate a story with an emotional touch. Subbu who made 'Solo Brathuke So Better' is directing this flick. The audience are getting connected to movies with period backdrop a lot these days and 'Virupaksha' is a recent example.
The official announcement regarding this project will be out soon and the storyline is yet to be revealed. But 1990 is going to be the backdrop of this film. Thrillers, action and love stories are mainly being picked for period movies and we need to see if Naresh's film is going to have a similar story or not.
There is a talk that Allari Naresh is trying quite hard to erase the comedy hero image he has lately. He is trying his hand at more serious films and even if he does comedy, it has to be a situational comedy like 'Jathi Ratnalu'. There is a talk about him teaming up with Anudeep KV as well. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
