By: Tupaki Desk | 29 March 2018 5:33 PM GMTNandamuri Balakrishna's latest film 'NTR' has been officially launched today at Ramakrishna Studios. This is a special film for Balayya as the movie is a biopic of his father, legendary Telugu actor and politician NTR. Several bigwigs from Tollywood and politicians attended the movie launch and conveyed their best wishes to 'NTR' team. Senior producer Allu Arvind who attended the event made an interesting speech at the event.
He said "Once we were all Madrasis. Whether he is Tamilian or Telugu.. we were all referred as Madrasis in North India.. in such a situation, it was NTR who declared to them for the first time that 'We are not Madrasis, we are Telugus'. NTR brought recognition to Telugu people, he has taken the Telugu pride to a new level. I appreciate Nandamuri legend and his family members on this occasion."
Allu Aravind added that "Bringing such a great history of NTR onto the silver screen is a great challenge. Balakrishna is perfectly eligible for taking up such a challenge. Moreover, he is the one who has the guts to take up such a mammoth challenge. The co-producer of this film Vishnu told me about this script two and half years ago. It was wonderful. I told him that no one other than Balakrishna can do this film. We have discussed the project but I was doubtful whether it would materialise or not. I congratulate Vishnu, director Teja who got the opportunity to direct the film, Balakrishna because no one other than him can take up NTR role."
