Allu Arjun & Raviteja vying for Journalist's Role

Grapevine in the Industry is that two stars of TFI are in race for playing the lead in the Telugu remake of the Tamil project 'Kanithan'. Sometime ago, There were reports about Allu Arjun showing interest in the Action-Thriller. Now, Mass Maharaja has joined the race.
Reportedly, 'Kanithan' Director Santhosh narrated the script to Raviteja after making few changes to suit Telugu nativity. The Energetic Actor got impressed with the compelling story and expressed his willingness to sign the project. If luck favors, Santhosh would wield the megaphone for the remake as well. Everything is in the nascent stage as of now and hence conclusions can't be drawn.
'Kanithan' is a story of an aspiring Investigative Journalist who exposes Crime Syndicate operating fake diplomas racket. The film starring Atharva and Catherine Thresa has been doing well at the Tamil Box Office.
